im not interested in spreading anything for or against that man. i'm ready for him to finally slip into obscurity and be forgotten unless he decides to grow a conscience and come clean. i'd be happy to applaud him or laugh along with him if he stopped being such a bad and dishonest guy.

he in particular broke my heart some years ago. i believe i was a teenager when all the political comedians really became mainstream. they existed before that with Bill Maher but that was a niche audience i think, that was more mature than my age group. but (((Comedy Central))) ushered in an era of propaganda that was more appealing to younger audiences and more demographics. and Colbert, along with John Stewart, were so charming and fun back then. the show had that energy and excitement, so it was easy to watch or talk about with others. but there came a point when.. and it reminds me of the times i came to see who certain "friends" truly were. and they were satanists and thats not a coincidence. i'm talking about when a naive young person has an illusion shattered about who certain people are. like you had this image and idea of them being so good and loving and fun, and then it turns out they're bad, hateful and creepy. bill nye had the EXACT same effect on me, maybe more so because i grew up in elementary and middle school watching him in class. we loved watching him, it was a great break from boring paperwork.

and Mark Hamill had the same effect on my heart. its basically blackpilled me and destroyed all my hopes and dreams of being a creative person within the media.

but yeah i became aware at a point how comedy in particular is used effefctively in propaganda. because of how emotions fuck with peoples heads. people are social creatures and vulnerable to alienation or ridicule. would rather laugh along with others than be the one being laughed at or scrutinized. they'd rather be in the lynch mob than the one getting lynched, even if it means pretending.
