Riot must have truly ratfucked the development if in 2019 the game was only a couple years from release according to him.
Makes sense why he'd want to refund it under the legacy engine, pc only, etc.
Sounds like Riot came in, thought they could do better, brought people in to effectively restart development on a new engine, and feature creeped the game to failure.
