That's right. Hitler was Catholic. The Third Reich was majority Catholic. The NSDAP, having mostly membership from Protestant Germany and not Austria and Sudetenland, was more Protestant in membership. However, its top leadership were mainly Catholics from Catholic areas of Germany.
