Sapir-Whorf was clearly from precise-language (dead dog speak) environment, where language is set in stone by directions from above and anyone stepping away from the line is gruesomely tortured,

so he could never imagine, that it's just gives the natural living language more depth and allows you to deeper understand the people you are speaking with, because every time they speak, they reveal their personal associative series and biases attached to them

as for his specific theory, of course you can get biases from other people
and it's done trough conversation:
- a person you are talking with is giving you some bias
- you understand that bias
- AND you can agree with this bias OR you can disregard it
