Always good seeing new arrivals to this game in [current year].
You'll find plenty of resources to delve into for any given server, and all of said servers allow for standard leveling to acclimate to your class naturally, should you so desire (and have the patience for it).
Would love having (You) on Starscape, but feel free to sample other servers if you're curious about them, or happen to live closer to one over another.
Worth mentioning that latency is a concern in this title, and while there are ways to mitigate the woes of having high ping, you'll almost certainly have a noticeably smoother experience playing on a server which isn't giving you 150ms+.
If you're in the 'States, that means picking between Starscape and Classic, two vastly different experiences wrapped in the same 'shell (both of which are good for different reasons). If you're in EU, however, I'd opt for Arborea over Agaia, even at the expense of a bit more ping.

On PC, no, the game is officially dead, and has been since June 30, 2022. Different flavors of private server are the only way you'll get to sample this title there.
An official server still technically exists on PS4/Xbox One somehow, but I really wouldn't recommend going there. It's obscenely behind on content, and lacks several essential QoL features native to practically every private server of the PC client. Still a very strange oddity to note all the same.
