You wouldn't think CCS has more Garage Kit figures than Re:Zero and Sword Art Online, would you?

Kadokawa owns several wholly-owned subsidiaries that produce Garage Kit figures. According to Kadokawa's financial statements, Re:Zero's annual sales are 3.8 billion yen, of which BD sales, domestic and international copyright revenues account for over 80%, or approximately 3 billion yen. Re:Zero's merchandise revenue, on the other hand, is only 500 million yen, and light novel sales are around 300 million yen.

Sword Art Online's annual sales are 1.5 billion yen, of which merchandise sales are approximately 800 million yen, game sales are 300 million yen, and light novel sales are 200 million yen.

Kadokawa's franchises have more crossover collaborations than CCS and produce more Garage Kit figures annually. But even Kadokawa's franchises struggle to make money from Garage Kit figures, so why do you think CCS can make a lot of money from them?

The most important thing is that these Garage Kit Figures are produced by a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kadokawa, and CCS's production committee does not own the subsidiary that produces Garage Kit Figures. There is no way for CCS's production committee to share the profits from the sales of Garage Kit Figures.
