What does "ἔθνη" (ethne) and other words that root from 'ἔθνος" (ethnos) actually mean when used in the NT?
Note: For most bible versions (including the KJV), the OT verses will translate "baggoyim" (meaning "among the goyim") and "goyim" to nation(s) but the NT will quote the OT verses and instead use "gentile(s)".

Let's examine some interesting verses:
Romans 15:8-12
>For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the circumcision (jews) on behalf of God’s truth, to confirm the promises made to the patriarchs, so that the Gentiles(ἔθνη) may glorify God for His mercy. As it is written:

>I will sing hymns to Your name.”
