We're almost ready to go for the /vt/ League Academy! This is an off-season memeball tournament for management practice (so we may get out of autopilot hell)
On the first day (saturday 14th) we'll play 2 games against /nepolabo/ and /ameliawatsonanddoobyappreciationthread/ (or /awdat/ for short)
On the second (the next saturday 21st) day /wah/ will be our opponent, and we might play an extra match depending on how well we do.

I know a lot of this is probably going to sound like meaningless nerd babble but I do want to share what I cooked up for the team.
We're keeping the 3-5-2 formation, however I've pushed Koa upfield to be an AMF, and gave her a role that should let her make runs inside the box to help the two up front. Our striker duo of Roca and Poko up front stay almost the same, I've made Poko into more of a playmaking supporter while having Roca stay in the center to be ready to finish up attacks, and occasionally hold the ball up with her back facing the goal to set others up. Daisy will try to apply heavy pressure and jump on anyone she sees (giwtwm) alongside one of our defensive midfielders to hopefully take the sting out of most attacks we face, and even set up counterattacks for us by winning the ball further up the pitch. The wide players often make runs inside and contribute to the scoreline, so I'm hoping for a diverse cast of players on the team that can score goals. I've also set up a backup 4-4-2 formation where the DMF falls back to be a CB, to be a bit more conservative if we ever need it. Will it work? Should we throw on purpose so we don't win and get cursed? No clue. Let's find out together!
Maybe Lala won't pass it to Nene this time.
