Neither are cars. You aren't carting 4 of your friends around, or your family, or hauling groceries, you're commuting to and from work. For that sole purpose you should have a moped, bicycle, or high efficiency motorcycle. You also don't need a car that exceeds the speed limit on the highway, because you legally can't do so.
