I don't remember that one being particularly bad. The only truly bad part about that whole storyline was when Yotsuyu kept escaping, but that was 4.3

Pandaemonium was great, legit one of the only good parts of post-EW. And the finale was fantastic.

The BRD quests were good, they were shockingly decent. I went in with rock bottom expectations and enjoyed them from start to finish.
You wanna talk about nonsensical questlines, let's talk about NIN. Or hey, DRK, especially the English version which has the WoL be the one that sent the letter for the lv80 questline.
