I was watching "My big fat gypsy wedding" on TLC 2 days ago and the episode was about a 17 year old girl marrying a 26 year old man... And the mom consented to it... The whole episode wasn't about the age gap, it was about the fact that the 17 year old wanted a black wedding dress.
Is 17x26 the end of the world? Definitely not. Though I wouldn't let my kid marry some mid 20s man. Picrel is them.
