I do not think there is much difference between those who 'hate themselves', here, and 'predators.' I also do not think we would use those labels the same. Most of the people here I would describe as having some sort of covert narcissism. Which if you are familiar means self depreciation is not actually self hatred for them. But a form of validation where they squeeze the value out of being a victim. This can easily be seen in competitions over who is 'actually a hon' and who is 'privileged.'
