Growth is Caerula's motif which Lu worked on primarily. Having some reminders of what she loved to work on seems pretty reasonable, but it's interesting that Doc remembers them. She's definitely a marine nerd though, the ARG went about her passion too. That even when the sea creatures didn't get enough time to fully mature yet, she wanted to keep them and let them live freely in the sea because they were still "beautiful creatures" that she didn't want to lose.
