Yeaah top is just super volatile always
I feel like I've never seen them go even ever. It's always a stomp one way or the other.
Once a guy dies twice they're basically just going to die on cooldown if left to their own devices, that or get 40 cs total.
As mid you do have some control over that outcome though. If you see a huge wave crashing top and it looks like the enemy team is lining for a dive it's possible to totally flip it and get your guy back in the game. Of course things do need to line up pretty well and you can't always pull it off but there usually is one opportunity
