i kinda want to switch to linux, but i still want to dual boot w10 ltsc just for the anti cheat games like siege (nuking my nvme entirely and just install two fresh OSs). but my only issue is that im using a pascal gpu and its already been basically phased out, and many distros have began excluding anything below the 2000 series unless you force the old supported drivers for said legacy gpu. also i have no clue how NTFS acts with linux these days since i dont want to nuke my 2tb anime image collection since i know linux used to really hate NTFS and could corrupt it by accessing it and then you would need to use windows to fix the partition for said drive. i mostly play and emulate old games and play alot of gold/source and id tech games, but i still play modern-ish titles like siege with friends or VT2/POE2. its not like i dont have experience on using linux since every other device i have around the house uses some kind of linux distro, its just that i dont want to deal with headache with transitioning and formatting and have to deal with nvidia's shit drivers.
