if multiple people are getting distracted, is it all their fault too? what if 7/8 all die to it because they were so confused by his movement?
or can the guy just sit still and do the mechanic normally lol
when you pull a fight hundreds of times it becomes autopilot and everything up to the prog point is like embedded into your subconscious and then you begin to notice when ANYTHING deviates from the norm even in the slightest. It jolts you for a second because you think it's some new way to wipe. 99% of the time when this "jolt" happens it's a wipe due to whatever went wrong being the trigger in the first place.
So when you're doing the start of P3 you're focused on your character's position because this mechanic requires moderately precise movement and suddenly this dragoon starts doing his back flip past your line of sight and then zig-zaggig between the aoe lines from the expanding donut aoe, you're gonna think "what the fuck is this guy doin- oh I'm dead..."
