The part I don't get is that it's in the best interest of the IP owners to make shows more polished with complete and satisfying endings. It's obvious they want that by default but whatever budget framework they use prioritizes speed over quality resulting in excremental finales like squid games and Game of Thrones (yeah I'm still pissed). If these shows ended on high notes, there are autists like me who will rewatch them every year or so. I would presume shows with an overall satisfying conclusion would get at least a single rewatch from most people. Or, if you're like me, 4 or 5. When a show shits the bed like this now I have zero interest in rewatching any of it. So for the IP owners, it just seems short sighted.

I remember when people rewatching The Office was a huge part of Netflix's traffic. So I know there are more retarded people like me out there
