I enjoy a lot of ninja anime but I don't think I'll ever watch Naruto Shippuden. Jigokuraku was kino. Even ninja ecchi like Manyuu Hikenchou are kino. Naruto, however, is considered bottom of the barrel for ninja anime. I haven't watched it since I was a kid, so I'm not exactly sure to what extent that is true, but I also partially stopped watching it because it was getting boring. I never found any other ninja anime boring, not even slow paced or fanservice-oriented ones that don't have much action happening.
