Silent Hill 1 has the best gameplay, by far the best level design, by far the best pacing, and it is the most fun. I used to speedrun that game. It is the best SH game and also the most fun to replay over and over.
I think SH3 is also very good to replay because the enemy encounters are so entertaining. Weaving in and out of Closers and dogs packed in tight hallways is a lot of fun.
Everything else is kinda meh to replay although I think SH2 is a good game and I really, really love SH2 Remake. They just aren't as addictive as 1 and 3.
