Hrm well then I'd want more dynamism in eastern Europe. Anons upstairs seemed to like the idea of the demonic forces being more pagan and varied, so at the start of our relevant timeframe, let's say that central Russia falls to demonic Bolshevism.
After months of blood-red moons, stillbirths of mutant cattle, apparitions of dark spirits and otherworldly whisperings in the woods, the land itself seems to rise up against humanity. Peaceful villages and towns are overrun by monstrosities from terrifying folklore, while at the same time massive armies descend from the Ural mountains to capture Moscow. Russian armies are overwhelmed and within a matter of months, millions of people are forced to pledge themselves to new masters in the form of uncaring but brutal demons who rule the forests.
Their new priests aren't much better, clad in a mixture of black leather and bizarre shamanistic garb, they seem to have no religion but murder. These "Bolsheviks" smile with glee as they take children from cribs to hack apart with axes for the amusement of their dark gods. New barbarian hosts are already assembling: masses of half-starved wretches chant slogans of hatred against God, the old order and life itself. Under the watchful eyes of their commissars, they are poised to strike at the last of Russia's great cities, Novgorod and Yekaterinburg, so that one day the whole world may bleed beneath the sign of the Red Star.
Here on the steppes where madness reigns, there are no front lines. Just endless slaughter beneath an endless sky.
I'd also like for Britain to be evil so that it can invade northern France and the Low Countries as an excuse for mudcore. If we've got the HRE, then the main base of its navy can be Franzjosefshaven instead of Wilhelmshaven.
