idk how to say this without sounding like a nakamafag but fuck it, thinking about her sulong form she really did feel like a strawhat without irony by how it was presented
>Jinbe took the role of narrating for her with some brief exposition of the sulong, so did others crewmates
>Chopper gassing her up being proud of her literally saying "thats my little sister"
>Nami saying she looks beautiful and being proud of her
>Brook saying wow I really want to see her panties now
she wasn't just an ally in that moment but truly a friend


this was missing with Yamato if I'm not mistaken, I don't recall a moment where she really felt like she was part of a squad when she really could've, it would've been perfect for her and Zoro to have interaction giving a sweet moment where Zoro would find peace knowing a woman can be as strong as Yamato and saying that he reminds him of Kuina in that way

Bonney sort of had a moment like this assisting the crew with knocking Mars out just had the element of camaraderie missing, when she took part of it she was calling the other crewmates crazy for attacking Luffy so she did feel more like Law there, so she felt more of an ally than a friend in that moment, she could've felt like one but Oda didn't give of the crewmates time to react to Bonney's moment other than Luffy cheering her on with Saturn
