Basically back when she was Lemonleaf, before even Hololive EN was a thing, before she even had a worthwhile avatar, she was "good friends" with Shondo who wasn't a vtuber yet and Vivi from VividlyASMR and they would sometimes collab and participate in each other's content which at the time was mostly ASMR collabs, just chating and very occasional games . That was right in the period where Coco and translator clippers brought the fad to the west and Project Melody got pretty crazy numbers for the time. HololiveEN started and Shondo, Vivi and Lemonleaf had planned to get a worthy Vtuber avatar around that time and while I can't find any existing remains of proof, it was relatively obvious that they had planned to create a sort of indie group. Either by choice or just by a circumstance, Lily debuted much earlier than the other two but Shondo did the voice over for her creepy "Fairy" lore. They also shared art of each other hyping up their relationship. Lily started to get into the 3 digits territory and the other two were aligned to debut when Lily suddenly stopped responding to everyone, she disappeared from her Discord without saying anything leaving her fans sort of heartbroken and wondering what the hell happened. She stopped answering to the friends she made and went completely silent. They would a few months later learn that she was picked to play Fauna of Hololive's Gen2.
