Literally thought the same thing and started climbing in little spurts to let my boots recharge. Realized a quarter of the way up that they were insta recharging and you could literally just fly up. What a boring design, I thought GSG was back and had come up with a top tier shitter filter mission but ofc they wouldn't just put regular boots in that one, with this playerbase 90% of the missions would end in failure.
In retrospect they should've just made the drill go sideways and the end of the mission is trying to get to the landing pod through a sea of endlessly spawning bugs. That'd be way better than what they gave us.
