That's happened so many times to me before and I've had threads where you/somebody else comes in, posts something, and it's like the whole thing's frozen in amber.
My guess is that the mods can 'hide' a thread from the bulk/all users for some period of time (10 minutes, 30 minutes) and once it's been out of action for a little bit it sinks too far. Just as recently as 2-3 days ago I was watching them full-on sage threads back to back that had any criticism/discussion of troons.
The thing is, they HAVE to do this. /pol/ hasn't just bounced back from all the shilling 24/7, it's managed to do that AND infected not just the American consciousness but much of the world discourse right now. Really think about that. /pol/ is the nexus and nebula for much of the political zeitgeist in the English-speaking world. I'm surprised a NATO country hasn't nordstreamed this board's servers if only out of self defense against us. We ARE the Studio 54 of politics and information warfare.
