Have fun having the same level of life ambition as literal rednecks, hillbillies, and unnameable, unidentifiable incest-created he/she beasts from deep in the hollers and mountains of central WV. I grew up in that hellhole, in a town of less than 300 in a county of several thousand, maybe. they are stuck 40 years in the past and the most wildly popular career path is collecting disability checks for the rest of their short lives. They tend to live together multi-generational style, but not the usual kind. The grandparents raise the youngin’s, whose parents (if alive) move back in with the grandparents by time the kids are in high school, usually after having served time or been running meth. The grands tend to have lived decent lives and collect pensions. Everyone else is on disability, which is easier to get on once you have familial history, and they give it to minors there, too. Then everyone lives together in the 4-5 bedroom Sears-Roebuck house that they always have. They collect food stamps to keep food bills low, have as many kids as possible to increase income and collect WIC/etc, all pile into the car to go to Walmart once per month because it’s a 45-60min drive in a 35 year old car/truck/geo metro.
