I haven't played Soul Reaver or Blood Omen 2 yet, but Blood Omen is a great top down action adventure game in the vein of Zelda. You get some cool weapons like a pair of axes that you wind up and then go into a whirlwind frenzy, a fire sword and ignites foes, and the Soul Reaver which screeches as you swing it and makes enemies explode. Soul Reaver 2 is alright. Very linear, but enjoyable. Defiance is similar to Soul Reaver 2, except you bounce between both Kain and Raziel.
