This is literally wrong though Poison didn't even make it to the NA release of Final Fight, the devs were worried that violence against women would be taken wrong in the NA release so they added in that she was a newhalf in manual to sidestep that, Nintendo still thought that wouldn't fly and so they cut Poison (and Roxy who Poison was just a palette swap of) and replaced them with 2 generic male characters, Capcom then never went back and changed the newhalf thing because japs like that sort of thing considering how often traps show up in fighting games
