The biggest example are the Pajama alts.

Everyone GOONS to them, since they are very goonish alts in nature.
However NOBODY actually rolled for the Pajamas

Everyone skipped them since they are permanent
Everyone skipped them since they are meh for gameplay
Everyone skipped them to save for Blue Fes

Halloween Alts would be the same thing
Everyone would goon to the designs
But nobody would actually go and roll for them
