The funniest and weirdest looking normal type. Simple as that and Lickilicky came far too late to move on from liking him and was disappointing on his own merits.

A deceptively cool kappa monster and is unfortunately overshadowed by the other water types of gen 1 and Psyduck.

Memorable from becoming a giant maneating plant with a bloodcurdling high-pitched shriek despite starting out as the adorable Bellsprout.

It's a plesiosaur.

A mushroom boxing dinosaur with stretchy arms is a lot of fun.

Surprised that despite being popular, no one seems to think he's cool for being some shadow creature instead of the generic cartoony ghost of its pre evos.

Cool and obscure animal and nice color scheme.

Too many bug mons are either ugly or boring to me. Him being a rhino beetle makes him both cool and cute.

Him being implied to be a black hole is fucking awesome for a ghost type. Makes him seem more eldritch and Dusknoir being more of a spirit guide is a downgrade.

He's just fucking awesome. His colors, his level of details, his serpentine body shape, his roars, his movepool. No other dragon can compete.

I didn't know that I wanted a non-water lovecraftian squid and I'm happy he exists.
>Skarmory
Every other steel mon is a boring/ugly humanoid or robot or something and being a fan of cranes, Skarmory is the only one I like.
>Wigglytuff
It takes a lot of neat inspiration from a variety of things (moon rabbits, balloons, and plushies), growing in size is a cool twist on a seemingly cute but unremarkable mascot toy-bait, and its cute but angry personality makes it likeable to me.
