Speaking for myself, it's not the fact that Pricefield broke up. It's the manner in which they did it. Lazy as all fuck, off screen, and extremely out of character for Chloe. It was the "Somehow, Palpatine returned." of Life is Strange. It was insultingly stupid and dismissive. I could have accepted a breakup easily. Shut happens. But the writers absolutely fucked it up in the most dismissive way possible. Just my two cents.
