It's the same for almost every gacha release, the main problem is shitposters skyrocketing during the first weeks. Splitting the threads two or three months and merging again later after most of them drop the game is usually a good idea, people here just did it way too late. Most JP players underestimate how much a global release will drown up the old discussion.
Well, keeping the JP thread is perfectly ok with today /vg/'s speed, until the mods start bitching about it.
