its definitely a terrible dilemma, we spent formative years watching idealized versions of women while we were shut-ins, I think it did ruin our standards to a degree, but modern women are definitely awful people.
even now, I avoid watching anime because when I do I get a desire for a GF just from seeing women who I'd actually like to have as a gf/wife

maybe this, it's a really good thing that weeaboos are also computer nerds, if you spend more than 5 seconds looking at AI shit you'll see how much of it is anime, and anime is always at the forefront with this kind of stuff.
