This thread has been fantastic for my sanity. I've seen more people in the past three months commenting on the sheer amount of online astroturfing/consent creation and how it's just greedy class warfare than in years.

I'm convinced it's bots or paid. There is no other reason for the bizarre uptake of posters with 1960s christian ideological standards on 4chan of all places. They never attach images or have any context to the net's culture either, it's as if they appear out of thin air and vanish after diluting discussion enough.
