Still need to finish this.
I feel like Stella is a character that is supposed to be defined by what is seemingly the sum of her part. The show seems to purposely not show her in more vulnerable moments. I can only hope that Vivziepop is making a point of only showing Stella when she's at her worst because people tend to villainize strong women and label them as cunts instead caring why they are breaking in the first place. She is held as the worst "boss" of the show despite her deeds not being anywhere near as heinous as other characters and I think that might be the point.
I can only hope she's purposely not showing Stella when she's not being performative around the one person she clearly has a vendetta against. I can only hope that she is suggesting that Stella is an awful person but she is just as much a victim who gets no sympathy BECAUSE of her lack of a spotlight. I'm hoping these little mannerisms and reactions are building up to something. Maybe that she's getting revenge for Stolas denying her at an early age, allowing Andrealphus to take the reigns and eventually make him seem like an incompetent replacement to lead to her endgame. Giving Octavia the one thing Stella has never had. Even if it means crashing and burning with Stolas to do it.
I'm hoping that the moments we don't see of her with her daughter are purposely not shown and it eventually comes to light that she actually cares a lot about her.
