My two theories on why ugly or below average looking manlets obsess or blame their height:
1. It's much easier to admit that just a few inches is stopping you from getting laid/a GF than to admit your face is the issue. Admitting your face is subpar is a much brutal pill to actually swallow than just being short.
Being hideous goblin vs being a Tom Cruise who can't laid because he doesn't meet the height standard (not implying Cruise would actually struggle dating wise).
The choice is easy.
2. They've been bullied in early life and hyper obsess over MEN giving them validation. Height doesn't guarantee female attraction but it DOES guarantee MALE RESPECT. Which does boost their ego.
