This is almost as retarded as the wildfire control measures we have the the western United State. The forests there have naturally caught fire for millions of years, and the entire ecosystem has evolved around wildfires. There are trees that have fire resilient bark, and there are plants which proliferate their seeds through fires. But since some dumbasses decided a combustible landscape was the best place to build their homes, now we have firefighters that go around constantly putting out the wildfires that threaten what humans have built.

The average retard thinks the firefighting is a good thing, but it's creating a much larger issue. Regular, small scale forest fires would have naturally burnt up all the brush and debris on the forest floor. But because the firefighters don't let those fires happen, the debris keeps building up. Over time what they're unintentionally doing is creating a massive bonfire. Finally one day the right fire happens and the whole forest is an out of control inferno. The trees aren't intended to withstand these insane temperatures and everything burns to the ground.
The point being, humans will assign value to the wrong things and not let the natural world continue in the way it's supposed to continue, which often leads to consequences.
