Do you mean Queen of Angels? I have Forge of God and Blood Music on my TBR, while Queen of Angels and Eon were shelved (for the moment) in favor of the former two, but not for any particular reason.

Since you seem to know Bear's work quite well: which of his novels would be the best first introduction to Bear?
