I know the feeling. It took me 4 years of trying basically everything to finally get a GF
>talk through things with good faith and encourage her to trust you and do the same
Well, we haven't had any issues/fights yet. And I'm 100% on the trust team, when I'm with someone I trust them and I expect the same

>couch together with a treat and TV as much as an actual date
That actually just happened - she suggested a bar for tomorrow (we do date nights on Tuesdays), but upon further inspection she admitted she actually would prefer to stay in and play xbox together (we just started playing Stardew Valley)
Regardless though, I always try to be up for whatever she suggests
>Women will almost always tell you if their needs aren't being met anyways, you just have to listen
Not sure about this though, some people are not that vocal about these things. Still super important to hear what they tell you, of course, but I wouldn't content to simply wait until people tell me what is off. I rather be more proactive in that regard

I still have love for all my exes. Not in the hung up sense, but in the sense that they were all people I really liked/admired and have overwhelmingly good memories with. Of course not all of those relationships ended super great, but still, my thoughts of my exes are almost exclusively positive
Tbh I think that should be more normalized. The concept of hating your exes is kinda dumb... going from being in love with someone to hating them is quite radical
