Wonder if he's misleading on purpose, or if he's just retarded. NATO requires its members to spend a certain amount on their own defense, proportional to their GDP. They must have large enough defense budgets, that's it. It used to be 2%, and now it's supposed to rise to 5%

The artist must be an idiot if he thinks that Israel has a small defense budget. They would have easily fulfilled the newest NATO requirements even before this newest shitshow, and I bet the spending has only increased since. Why on earth does USA double down on their defense is another can of worms

There's a good reason to be pissed about some NATO members. They have willfully entered an alliance with certain requirements, and then just proceeded to ignore those requirements. I guess the alliance must have kind of shitty rules as they've been able to do that with out repercussions
