I hadn't realized this about our laws until today. Lots of weapons are effectively unregulated, like knives and batons, but unless you can come up with a good reason you're carrying it outside of hurting someone you could get legally fucked.
With that in mind, can the average person carry anything more effective than a pocket knife without breaking the law? I work at an office job so I can't think of a good excuse for carrying any sort of mid size blunt or sharp implement in the city.
