It's kind of like the time travel paradox:
- what's the point of going back in time if you're just rewinding time and are oblivious to it occurring?... and are you even "going back" if you're that same person doing the same things, or just that person who is already there in the past?
- if you go back as your present, self-contained self, with all consciousness and memories intact, it becomes nonsensical because you'll exists twice in one instance...
