the squad are moral people. they care about others. when they see something bad happening, they feel the need to step in and be heroic.
the clique on the other hand care only about themselves. they only step in if they think it’ll make them look good. if something doesn’t benefit them, they won’t bother with it. they have the power to do actual good since they control the discords and the piles, but instead, they use their power to exile people like dante and bunyan for being mildly annoying instead of ousting the pedos within their ranks.
