You're being too literal. The Dark Urge is simply a natural-born killer, and knowing how to kill (eviscerate) is not something exclusive to one Rogue subclass. This reminds me of a silly back-and-forth Mintharafag once had with an anon who argued that, since Minthara explicitly used the word "vengeance" when referring to her oath, she could only have sworn an Oath of Vengeance and not another. As if Minsc can only be a Beast Master because he has a rodent as a pet. As if Jaheira can only be a pure Druid because she was taken in by a circle when she was young. She was a Fighter/Druid in BG2, by the way. A class supports the narrative role of a character, not the other way around - you don't have to start with the Assassin class to try to imagine a conflicted or remorseless killer. Classes are not straitjackets that confine you to an archetype.
