The actual habbenings that have made this ordeal the stuff of legend are either not on this plane of existence, or would require breaking every level of security clearance and cast aside the veil to explain what and how things have happened in some giant tutorial before even getting into the sequence of events.
Meanwhile, the available lore is so convoluted and filled with falsehoods at this point that no one on the outside or audience could recognize, let alone believe it.

Additionally, the only ones who have the actual catalog of what has occurred have no desire to explain anything since it would implicate them.
Also because all the info gathered was from illegal surveillance and motivated by nefarious plans.

Not to mention, most of the things which actually happened are really boring, offensive, and stupid.
