Other way around, and not quite. Mine is a Skogsra which is a forest Fae based in Scandinavian myth and is a subset of the huldra which are daughters of the [insert place]. They live in the forests and are the subset of fae that are inscrutable and dangerous. Like the kind that steal names or consume your ability to love. Skogsra are hollow attractive skins with bark and plants growing inside and a hole in their back where it grows out of. They seduce lone men and make them disappear.
Lady of the forest appears to be more of a German fey based upon a dryad or forest protector or more likely Titania directly based on the design, which is sort of a Greek German hybrid from Shakespeare, but probably based on contemporary stories at the time he wrote it.
