Wheelchair anon here! This is my dub for day 4 of my Dub a Day challenge. I watched Captain America: Civil War first the first time last night, and while his stand alone movie is just mid, Winter Soldier and Civil War are awesome! I will say that even with the brainwashing revelations and so forth, I’m still on Iron Man’s side. As a powerful figure of the public, you are beholden to the populace, as that’s who you're trying to protect as a superhero. And so if that populace demands a form of regulation upon you and as a superhero you willingly reject that regulation, you're then against the populace and are fighting for your personal sense of justice regardless of casualties or public opinion. Which I know is what the superhero genre is all about, but there are levels to it, and in my opinion, Rogers takes his sense of justice too far all for Bucky. Share your dubs anons! :]
