Man the first few weeks of DayZ before normies found it were glorious. You could run into any stranger and team up and half the time you could just interact and hang out with other groups. Fucking sociopaths ruined the game making everyone shoot on sight. The only places you'd start engaging other groups would be around Novy or Starry Sobor and around the Airfield. I survived the macaroni bean wars.
