Inayah Amin
Biography
Born to a poor family in a small village at the border of the empire, Inayah was perhaps never destined to be a bold savior of men. Despite that young Inayah was always willing to help those around her even though her family had such precious little to offer. Her parents would occasionally chastise her softly to not give what she couldn't afford, but even still she could tell they were proud of her. It was perhaps because of this that she connected so deeply with the people around her and that she was given opportunities.
The village physician took notice of her ability to connect with people and comfort them with just her presence and since she had no children of her own she offered Inayah an apprenticeship. Encouraged by her parents and excited by the prospect of being able to give to others in a tangible way she accepted and began training under her. Inayah lacked a formal education, but she was a very hard worker and began to learn all of the different tools and medicines that were used. In time she began to assist with treatment and care. This helped Inayah grow from the wide-eyed idealist she was as a child to a more level headed optimist tempered by realism. Anyone would be changed by seeing the realities of sickness and death. Still Inayah was undaunted and continued the path she had chosen and the most important thing she learned was the value of the people around you.
