I should've listened to the Rocket League anon. I logged into it right now just to get the battle bus but there were so many cars and wheels I got (1 SUV body, 6 Whiplash bodies, 5 wheels) that I wish I had gotten sooner.

Can anyone also explain the second paintjob option that's locked for some cars? Do you unlock it in RL or do you have to pay for it?
