the early prototypes of infinite looked a lot better than the final product, similar to how the first bioshock was developed the creative design team went all in on what would be considered superfluous details in the environment, to give it more of an immersive sim feeling, that didn't shy away from any taboo subjects

unfortunately it seems as if 2K stepped in and asked them to streamline the whole thing, and what we got was a shadow of what they had initially been working on, if they had left the team alone to do their thing like they did with the first bioshock we would have something very unique , instead we got something more akin to an arcadey shooter that tries to shove in a lot of lofty ideas that don't feel like they fit into the game, we didn't even get to fight the fucking bird
